{let the sunshine in}
i've been waiting all week for a little sunshine to peek in
it has been gray days, rainy mornings
and then this happened
it was school photo day
and she was all dressed up
sitting at the table preparing for discussion
then
sunlight
creeping through the window
illuminating her
blessed sunlight
giving me the portrait
i've been wanting of her for months
my always moving
always grooving
girl
